Worcestershire Association of Carers’ 20th Celebration Gala was held on Friday 6th October at the Graeme Hick Pavilion at the Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

The Gala was well supported by staff, volunteers, and those who help to support WAC over the past 20 years. We are thankful for the generous donations from our Craft Carers (who created our beautiful centrepieces), our WAC Charity Shop, Bella Studio, Aphrodite, Asda, Odeon Cinema, and Lush Worcester.

On the night of the event, guests were able to listen to live music by both Naomi Heywood and The Flood.  Guests also were able to enjoy a delicious 3-course meal. People also had the opportunity to test their luck by taking part in a raffle and a silent auction.

The evening was topped off by a beautiful fireworks display! It was a splendid evening full of laughter and happiness. By having the Gala, it was truly a great way to celebrate our 20th birthday!

Overall, the evening was able to raise about £1500!!! We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended the event and a thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 20 years. We hope that we are able to continue to support and find carers over the next 20 years.

A special thank you goes to David Dunbar of Purple Swan Photography. He volunteered his time to take all of our photos for us. We are incredibly thankful for his service! If you like the photos you see in this article or on our Facebook page, please contact David so that he can take pictures at your next event!
