The free group sessions are delivered all over Worcestershire and available to anyone in a caring role. Sessions link together into programmes but are designed to work with and adapt to, the changing and unpredictable nature of caring.

    On 24th August 2017, as part of our 20th anniversary, we worked with Worcestershire Health and Care Trust to hold a Peer to Peer Support event at Newhaven in Bromsgrove. It was a resounding success and we hope all who attended benefitted from the resources and advice. Read more

    On Tuesday 25th July, we partnered with Carers Careline to host our second Carers Breakfast. The event took place at The Bunker at Pitcher Oak Golf Course in Redditch. Read more

    The Learning Disability Consultative Groups are an opportunity to update carers who look after someone with a Learning Disability with current relevant information which may assist them in their caring role as well as the opportunity to get feedback from the carers, consult over current issues, gather information and escalate where appropriate to different forums.     We are pleased to be working in partnership with Primrose Hospice to bring you 'Caring - The Practicalities'. These sessions are specifically for carers who are supporting someone with a life limiting illness. Read more

  • Carols for Carers - Voices for Health

    Launching our Carers for Carols for 2017 is Voices for Health, the NHS choir with a selection of songs from TV, musicals and of course much loved Christmas carols. The concert will take place on 16th November from 7.30pm and tickets will be available on the door. Read more

    As part of our 20th year celebrations, we are delighted to be collaborating with both Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust and Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust to bring five events to Worcestershire around themes that affect carers. Our fourth session will be focussed on palliative care and the support we can offer to those caring for someone with a life-limiting illness. Read more
