Worcestershire Association of Carers is a registered charity that was founded in 1997 providing an independent source of information, advice and support for unpaid adult carers in Worcestershire. They provide representation for carers at a local and national level and support carers to have a voice in decisions that affect them. They understand the role of unpaid carers and the huge contribution they make to the community.
I have signed up for Worcester City 10K Run to support Worcestershire Association of Carers, a local registered charity whose values I truly believe in. The organisation's aim is to provide information and advice to 63,000 unpaid carers in the county. Every staff at WAC always give the best of their effort to help carers overcome hardship, gain recognition, and find strength in their caring roles.
