Worcestershire Association of Carers are excited to be working in partnership with Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust's Older Adult Mental Health Team this autumn to launch a new program of support for carers caring for an older person (65 plus) with mental health challenges. This new online programme will give carers the opportunity to develop their understanding of common mental health problems, learn more about local support and treatment options and meet and share experiences with other carers in a similar situation. Our programme is planned to start in November 2020 and run for 7 weeks and will be delivered online. If you would like to know more information please contact Jane Taylor: [email protected] Please note this programme doesn't cover dementia but we can signpost you to alternative dementia support.
