This September Worcestershire Association of Carers has the wonderful privilege of being Worcester Music Festival’s Charity of the Year! We are so thankful for their support since announcing us as their chosen charity in January, which has been raising awareness for the crucial role of 63,000 carers across Worcestershire.

In June they held their first fundraising event for us and it was a fantastic success. The Midsummer Ceilidh was held with the Organ Grinders at Grimley & Sinton Green Peace Hall in Worcester, raising an amazing £650 for WAC!!

Callers and musicians for the evening comprised of many past and present Organ Grinders including Alan, Ian, Jon, Mark, Pete, Phil, Dom, Liz, Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney, Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawk, Uncle Tom Cobley and All! There was also a Real Ale & Cider Bar in operation!

The main Music Festival will run from 14th-16th September 2018 in venues in and around Worcester. Keep a look out for venues near you!

WAC wants to extend a huge THANK YOU to the Worcester Music Festival and all the bands involved.
