‘Families in Partnership’ is a Parent Carer Forum. A Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers of disabled children who work with local authorities, education, health and other providers to make sure the services they plan and deliver meet the needs of disabled children and families.
SEND Code of Practice
Families in Partnership represent the Parent Carer voice for those with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities ages 0-25 years in Worcestershire. As a group of passionate Parent Carer Representatives, we work in co-production with a variety of organisations bringing lived experience and knowledge to the decision-making process that impact on SEND children throughout the County.
Worcestershire’s Parent Carer Forum links to the National Network of Parent Carer Forums.
The National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF) is the independent national voice of parent carer forums and their mission is to deliver better outcomes for families living with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Families in Partnership also link into the West Midlands Regional Parent Carer Forum.
