Moving with Confidence for Carers
We assume falls only affect older people, but certain long term health conditions and increased frailty come with a heightened risk at any age.
Time & Location
12 Nov 2025, 10:30 – 12:30
Worcester, The Office Canteen, Unit 9, Great Western Business Park, McKenzie Way, Worcester WR4 9GN, UK
About the event

It's essential as carers, you are confident with safe moving and handling to prevent hurting ourselves and the person you look after.
The most common injuries, back, shoulders and knees, limit movement and your ability to care for someone. They can take a long time to recover.
Lifting someone incorrectly can also damage fragile skin, and cause avoidable bruising or cuts.
In our hands-on session with experts we learn the correct moving and handling techniques while practicing with you.
Please note, you need to be a carer, signed up to receive our services to join our events. For more information on our booking system, please see below.
