Falls and Frailty Skills for Carers

We assume falls only affect older people, but certain long term health conditions and increased frailty come with a heightened risk at any age.

Time & Location

10 Sept 2025, 10:30 – 12:30

Great Malvern, Albert Rd N, Great Malvern, Malvern WR14 2YF, UK

About the event

We assume falls only affect older people, but certain long term health conditions and increased frailty come with a heightened risk at any age.

People can feel embarrassed after a fall and minimise the impact on them. Falls are unsettling, can be life changing and sometimes signal a general decline. The good news is there are a range of simple measures we can take as a carer to minimise risks and increase everyone’s confidence to cope.

Join WAC and our expert Colin Hanley to risk-check the living space and situation of the person you care for. Practice a ‘Get up off the floor' Plan with us before you need it. Give yourself and loves ones the confidence to stay living independently longer.

Please note, these sessions are for carers who are signed up to receive our services here at Worcestershire Association of Carers. Please see below for more information about…
