Focusing on Carers and Wellbeing Event

Spaces Available online and in person

Join us for a safeguarding and wellbeing event, all about carers for carers - with lunch for those who join us in person.

22nd November 2023

Worcestershire Association of Carers Offices

10am until 1230pm

Each year the Worcestershire Safeguarding Adults Board (WSAB) hold an event to share the learning from our Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs).

This year the focus of the event will look at recommendations which have been made through SARs which have identified a need to listen to carers and ensure that they have access to appropriate support.

Whilst the event will be open to both carers and representatives from health and social care, the emphasis will be on about carers experiences  on the following areas, which have been highlighted through SARSs,  and exploring  ways we can improve services and support

  • Understanding the application of legal frameworks
  • Listening to carers
  • Providing support and training to carers
  • Wellbeing for Carers

We welcome carers to attend, share your views and take away some top tips on caring for yourself and working towards that all important balance of taking care of yourself and the one you care for.
