Come along to our online gentle yoga sessions with instructor Maddie Dawson. Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.

There are many benefits to doing yoga including:

  • Stress reduction
  • Helps you focus
  • Increased flexibility
  • Improved posture and balance
  • Keeps your joints healthy
  • Build muscle strength

The sessions will run every Tuesday from the 26th October (6:15pm - 7:15pm) for six weeks - feel free to attend one or two sessions, or get the full benefit by attending all six. 

You will need comfortable clothes to move around in and a Pilates/Yoga mat.

Being physically active is very safe for most people, however some people should check with their doctors before they increase their current level of activity. The PAR-Q has been designed to identify the small number of adults for whom physical activity may be inappropriate or those who should have medical advice concerning the type of activity most suitable for them. 

If you answer Yes to any of the questions, please discuss with your GP whether you are able to take part in this activity. You will be need to sign and confirm you are cleared to take part in the physical activity sessions before the session starts.
