Carers Chorus Choir We are delighted that our Carers Chorus Choir is going from strength to strength, and we would love for you to join us! Banish your concerns about not being able to sing or imagining that this is a high brow choral music choir. No! This is all about fun, wellbeing, singing (or attempting to sing) popular and well-known tunes such as Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Celia’, Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Everywhere’, The Beetles ‘Lucy in the sky with diamonds’, Mama Cass Elliot’s ‘Make your own kind of music’ and even Jess Glynne’s ‘I’ll be there’ plus many more. All sung with gusto, a lot of laughter and lashings of fun. Sadly, we said farewell to Lindsay Martin who has led our choir so brilliantly, however we are now delighted to welcome Beccy Atherton as our new choir leader from September. Beccy is a highly qualified vocal coach and much like Lindsay, she brings a passion of bringing people together to sing for fun and wellbeing. Beccy has herself been a Carer for many years and is very much looking forward to working with our Carers Chorus to continue our uplifting and joyful choir sessions going forwards.
