Carers and Caring Matters: The Benefits Booster
Caught up in the daily care of a loved-one, many of us remain in the dark around benefits which could help make life easier, and promote a life outside of caring.

About the event

As carers you may be struggling to get to grips with benefits and payments. Possibly you don’t know about them or just daunted by a baffling and complex system.
Caught up in the daily care of a loved-one, many carers remain in the dark around benefits which could help make life easier, and promote a life outside of caring.
If you need advice on making a claim on behalf of the person you care for, this session is for you too.
Benefits explained and all your questions answered by an expert from Society Matters CIC. This beneficial course was designed by one of their Welfare Benefits Case Workers who has 20years experience of working at Citizens Advice and is a carer for his wife and child.
This is an online event only. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
