Carer Voice As a Carer, you are an ‘expert’ through your lived experience of caring and you can have a say in services, policies and decisions that affect you and as advocates for the people that you care for. At Carer Voice, we are here to give unpaid Carers a voice in the way their services in Worcestershire are designed, developed, and delivered. Our job is to help give carers a voice. Health, social care are required to ask people who use different services, including carers, how they should best provide them. We want to give you the opportunity to tell us, and the organisations which affect your life, what you think about the services and support that you use, so it can work best for you and your family. Local services are keen to hear carers’ views, so this is your chance to change things, just by sharing your ideas, your experiences, and concerns. Carers Voice meetings A good way to share your views is to come to one of our Carers Voice meetings. These are free events for carers, where you can meet with other carers, hear about changes to services and support, and ask questions directly to health and social care service providers. Details of these meetings will be publicised in our next Caring News and on our What’s On page on the website or you can contact Kate or Cassie for more information.
