Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) : What is it?

 

Mental Health First Aid is as important as physical first aid

This is a mental health awareness and skills course which includes a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities.

Each participant takes away a copy of the MHFA manual  which is an excellent resource and on completion of the training will also receive a certificate.

At the end of the course you will have:  An understanding of common mental illnesses. Ability to spot signs of mental illness  Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness Skills to support positive wellbeing.
