New skills training open to family carers in Worcestershire

New for 2019, family carers will have the chance to learn alongside care workers, sharing experience and skills thanks to a new collaboration.

Age UK H&W in partnership with Worcestershire Association of Carers is offering dozens of places on skills sessions including: First Aid Basic Training, Dementia Awareness, Adult Safeguarding and Falls and Frailty.

These highly recommended group sessions provide valuable information, advice and practical skills. They are relevant for family carers in all types of caring roles.

We are pleased to offer this at the hugely-discounted contribution of just £10 per session which pays towards the training session materials, session certificates and refreshments.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis and all strictly booked via Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire’s training department.

All the sessions take place at: Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire offices, Malvern Gate Business Park, Bromwich Road, Worcester WR2 4BN.
