For Carers Rights Day, WAC is hosting a session on Preparing and Planning to Pay for Care.

What is the law on this? What can we expect from our Local Authority when it comes to funding residential or care homes fees for a loved-one? The plans and decisions we make as carers can be crucial when the time comes that someone needs residential or nursing care, and being well prepared can reduce the chance of a family's assets being wiped out.

Award winning Later Life Independent Financial Advisor Mark Oswell gets to grips with this very specialist subject, and brings it to life with real life examples from work he's done in Worcestershire with real families and carers.

Carers Rights explained and wrongs avoided.
