As a carer, managing your emotional health and wellbeing is essential to help you stay fit and well. Taking steps to look after your wellbeing can help you deal with pressure, and reduce some of the impact that stress can have on our day to day life. This is sometimes called developing emotional resilience.

Having resilience can help us to bounce back from challenges and cope better with the stresses and strains of life. The good news is this is something we can all learn!
