As the Covid crisis begins to ease many of us are left thinking what next? How do I move on? Many of us have mixed feelings about life beyond Covid - we may be desperate to get back to normal or we may be worried about leaving the safety of our home - and everything in between. So how do we move on, what can we do to feel ready for what life beyond Covid will bring?

During the Covid 19 crisis we also know that many carers have struggled to maintain their physical strength, mobility and balance as the opportunities for activity have been so limited.  With that in mind we are also launching our Moving On online exercise program designed to gently build strength, flexibility and fitness:

- Gentle mat-based yoga

- Seated pilates and yoga

- Fitness for life

In this session you will stretch, relax and unwind with a gentle Yoga practice. 

Important information:

To help us understand your current health, you will be sent a Physical Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) form to complete before taking part in any of our online exercise sessions. Everyone participating is require to fill this in; it should take you no longer than a minute. Being physically active is very safe for most people, however some people should check with their doctors before they increase their current level of activity. The PAR-Q has been designed to identify the small number of adults for whom physical activity may be inappropriate or those who should have medical advice concerning the type of activity most suitable for them. You will appreciate how important it is for WAC to deliver sessions safely to carers - even more so now sessions are being delivered remotely and not face to face.

Once you have completed the form you will be sent links for all our Moving On exercise sessions so you can attend as many of them as you like.

Joining is simple. All you need to do is use the facility below to book a place and we will email you a link that you need to click at the relevant time and date. All you need is access to the internet, a phone, laptop, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone (most laptops and phones have this built in now).
