Carers & Cared For Afternoon Tea

Following on from the huge success of the March afternoon tea, we would like to say a huge thank you to Rotary Club Worcester who provided such a wonderful afternoon with delicious tea for Carers and their Cared For. We are delighted to announce that Rotary would like to host our next Carers Afternoon Tea at Bromyard Road Methodist Church Hall in Worcester on 24th October 2024. The wonderful thing about these afternoon teas apart from the delicious home-made cakes and sandwiches, is that Carers are able to bring along the person they care for if they wish. You will need to book a Cared for space along with your Carers ticket. 

Please note that the venue has very good disability facilities and a car park immediately behind the hall with direct wheelchair friendly access into the hall. The Car park is accessed via Blakefield Walk

For those of you who have not attended one of these lovely afternoon teas previously, you have missed a treat but here is your opportunity as we once again gather to enjoy delicious home-made sandwiches and cakes with steaming pots of tea, all provided by the lovely Rotary Club members. Come along, with or without the person you care for and enjoy some fun and companionship whilst enjoying this lovely afternoon tea. 

A deposit of £10 is required to book your place on this activity / event, which will be refunded to you upon attendance in full.  We will only charge the deposit on the Carers ticket, Please note only one additional person (the person you care for) per Carer, can accompany you. Your deposit will be refunded to you upon attendance in full.  If however you find you have to cancel your place on the event and provide us with more than 24 hours from the day of the event notice, you will still be refunded as this will enable us to offer your place to another Carer on the waitlist, however if you cancel less than 24 hours of the day of the event, we will unfortunately be unable to refund your deposit. Equally no-shows will be unable to be refunded. Thank you for your understanding.    

Please be aware that these sessions are only available for Carers who are currently registered with us, and on this occasion, the person you care for (only 1 additional guest per Carer) If you haven't already registered with us and are a Carer please be aware that we will take your booking as an indication that you would like to be registered with us and someone will be in touch with you for further information.
