*NEW* CARER TRAINING SESSIONS BEING OFFERED IN 2019.

Lone Working

Lone Working

Wednesday 19th June, 9.30am – 12.30pm.

Lone Working. Aims to: Describe how to promote personal safety and security • Explain safe working practices and strategies that enhance personal safety • Detail how to manage difficult situations and potential challenges from others • Demonstrate good practice by examining a range of case studies

In collaboration with Worcestershire Association of Carers, Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire are offering training opportunities for carers in 2019.

Just like with our Falls, Fractures & Frailty sessions in 2018, family carers will have the chance to learn alongside care workers, sharing experience and skills.

These group sessions are highly recommended and provide valuable information, advice and practical skills. They are relevant for family carers in all types of caring roles.

We are pleased to offer this at the hugely-discounted contribution of just £10 per session which pays towards the training session materials, session certificates and refreshments.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis and all strictly booked via Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire’s training department (see details below).

All the sessions take place at: Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire offices, Malvern Gate Business Park, Bromwich Road, Worcester WR2 4BN.
