WORCESTERSHIRE ASSOCIATION OF CARERS

The Carers Handbook is published by the Association to give information and advice about many aspects of being a carer. For other support to carers provided by the Association see our Home Page

This handbook is for adult carers, whether you care for an adult or child. It gives you basic practical information about the different sorts of help available and also looks at some of the decisions you might have to make as a carer.

A young carer is a child under 18 whose life is affected by a member of their family needing extra help at home because of disability or long term illness. For help and support, see information about Worcestershire Young Carers

Contact the Association on 01905 26500 or e-mail mail@carersworcs.org.uk to ask for a copy;
or download as a series pdf files covering different chapters of the handbook.

Contact details of organisations given in italics in the handbook are in the 'Useful Contacts' chapter.
